It was
built by Land Rover Special Vehicles for a Royal Navy
Contract > Sept. 1998.
I am
informed , that it is one of the very last 300 Tdi engined
vehicles, but is fitted with some later spec parts from the
Td5, such as steering column and wheel, and front bumper etc
Also fitted by Land Rover Special Vehicles is a Thermoline
fuel heater and Eberspacher auxiliary diesel fired heater
unit. This is connected to both engine coolant system and to
radiators in both the rear, cab and battery box. So your
never cold in this landy.
Although
the car is now 9 years old, it is in immaculate condition
(all though I think this has a lot to do with the previous
owner as it was maintained and repaired regardless of cost)
Since
it's release from it's military duty it has been fitted with
a "Safety Devices G4 full length roof rack
& ladder, Mobile Storage Systems Deluxe cubby box & 5 x
Grey 8 spoke wheels and BFG Mud Terrain 235/85 fitted.
