Post It finally happened
Finally took it off road. Owned it for 13 months and took it to Barnwell Mountain in Gilmer, Texas. Same location as SCARR.

Soil erosion has taken it's toll on about 80% of the main access roads of the park and the lower areas of the trails.

Every year Texas Rovers has a camping/off roading weekend after Thanksgiving.

This Mustang was at the park, it's on the chasis from a Bronco II - this dude was a REDNECK!!!

Behind Jerry was the rest of our Rover group, Bert (D2) Shawn (D2) and myself Freelander 2.

These four wheelers were stuck in the mud we were about to go through, I was not excited about this.

So I dialed in Mud/Ruts on Terrain Response, not sure if I needed to or not, better safe than sorry.

That little creek came about a 1/2 inch from maxing out my approach angle according to my spotters

Steve - why does the text box get jumpy when you have several lines?

The mud got the best of Shawn

Some familiar rigs and trails! Looks like a great time!

I've wheeled an LR2 pretty hard and pushed it past what it was probably intended to do and they're impressive. Nose heavy, but if you realize that going in, you can use that to your advantage..

That's a great vid on youtube and so are the pics! Looks like a great place to wheel. I'm definitely going to have to make it there some day with my LR2.
