About us:

MuddyOval.com started because another tremendously popular site, FreelanderLiving.com, outgrew itself. Founded by Robert Munson, FreelanderLiving.com quickly became the place to be on the 'net to get friendly advice and information on Land Rover Freelanders.  Robert moved on to work on his thriving business, and the site was assumed by the Technical Editor, Steve Young. 

Steve grew the site along with a dedicated core group of volunteers and contributors. As the community grew, we noticed that many of the core group (and many visitors) didn't want to be limited to just Freelanders. Several members started buying Discos, Series and other Rover models. The only logical solution is to widen the scope of the site. After consulting with Don Collins, it was decided that Steve and Don were to spawn a new site- MuddyOval.com was born.

MuddyOval.com is a not-for-profit site. We will maintain absolute objectivity by not selling our opinions. Advertisers will be carefully screened and only accepted if there is a real benefit to users of MuddyOval.com. Member names, e-mail address or demographics will NEVER be shared or used for anything other than the non-commercial operation of the Forum on this site. What does that mean? We won't spam you or sell/give your info away so someone else can, either.
